On May 12, 2022, Betty Jean Bybee, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt passed away at the age of 82 in West Jordan, Utah.

Betty was born on September 30, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marjorie Dehaan and William Gordon Brown. She was later adopted by her mother’s new husband Jack Edward Ertmann. Betty married Wayne Lamont Ingram in 1957 and together they raised 5 daughters - Debora (Kent) Brown, Judith (Jerry) Holbrook, Kathie Andrews, Melanie (George) Corson & Patti (Ryan) Marsden.

In 1973, Betty was divorced from Wayne and married Donald Jaco; They divorced in 1988. She then met Larry Bybee and they were married in 1997.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Larry Bybee, mother Marjorie Ertmann, father Jack Ertmann, brother Cliff Ertmann, sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Melvin Carlsen, as well as 2 grandsons, Casey Joe Holbrook & Brett Andrews.

Betty is survived by her 5 daughters, her brother and sister-in-law Mike & Ardis Ertmann, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held May 20, 2022 at 12:00 PM with a viewing one-hour prior at 1380 W. 6785 S., West Jordan, Utah. Burial will follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah.
