Beth was born on October 4, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the youngest of Charles Alvin Hadley and Maude Valera Campbell’s eight children, all of whom proceeded her in death.

Beth lived her entire life in the red brick house her father built. She never married, choosing instead to care for her ailing parents until they passed away and then devoting her love and attention on her many nieces and nephews. She acquired little of this life’s wealth, concentrating instead on those things of eternal value.

A very talented and accomplished seamstress, her sewing machine was one of the few treasures and the only possession she cared about in her final days. Sewing brought her true joy. She sewed countless dresses, shirts, blouses, and pajamas for herself and extended family. But her grandest projects were exquisite quilts, on which she would painstakingly stitch for hours, creating sought after masterpieces.

Beth worked most of her adult life at Intermountain Concrete Specialties, where she worked as the credit manager. Hers was a familiar face to countless people in the concrete industry.

Beth’s life could most easily be defined as one who was constantly thinking about and doing good for those around her. Never one to seek attention, she was most comfortable sitting quietly in the background. A friend or relative’s birthday never slipped past her without a token or gesture on her part. Beth leaves a legacy of countless deeds of quiet goodness, and will be lovingly remembered by many friends, nieces, and nephews whose lives she softly touched.

Beth was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she was a faithful member of the Salt Lake Jefferson Ward. Bishop Plastow will conduct a graveside service at the Murray City cemetery on Tuesday, May 31,2022 at 11:00 am.
