Bernard Fay Spor Jr. born in Delta, Utah passed away May 13, 2024. Fay loved mother nature, his family, his friends, and his pets. As an avid hunter and fisherman he spent a great deal of time enjoying the outdoors. He enjoyed reading, writing poetry, telling jokes/laughing, and singing songs. He had a big heart, loved sharing his knowledge of the outdoors, and taking care of others. He kept everyone well fed and entertained, hosting an annual beast feast and passing out smoked chickens, jerky, and cookies.

It was difficult not to share a smile and laugh when he was around. His unique sense of humor, sense of adventure, and caring nature will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his life partner Wendy James, his children Josh Spor (TaNiesha), Jennifer Diment (Zach), Camille Christensen (Gary), grandchildren (Bryce, Faith, Ethan, Audrey), dogs (Toby, Lila), and siblings (Mark, Dian, Madelene, Mary). Also by the mother of his children, Debra Wright Stearn. Preceded by siblings Trina and Bruce Sylvester

Catch and Release: The stillness of the water broke as the big fish took my fly. I grabbed my line and set the hook and the fish it jumped so high. It shook it's head from side to side to try and shake my hook. It reminded me of a story I'd read in a famous fishing book. As the big fish surged up the stream to try and get away I knew right then this wild river is where that fish would stay. -Fay Spor
