Becky was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on April 13, 1957, the second child to Orvid Ray Cutler, Jr. and Jeanne Davis. She spent most of her childhood living in Roanoke, Virginia before moving back to Utah. She was a ballet dancer and spent years practicing and performing. Becky graduated from Cottonwood High School in 1975 and studied ballet at the University of Utah. Becky loved teaching ballet and owned a ballet studio in her home for many years. She was a beloved substitute teacher in the Alpine School District and went by “Mrs. B.” Becky would tell the students it stood for Becky, Ballet, and the Best substitute teacher you’ll ever have.

In 1978, she married the love of her life, Steven Grant Wiser, and they were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple. After they were married, Steven leaned over and whispered in her ear, “Now you’re a little Wiser.” The two met on a blind date and were engaged two weeks later. They were married for 45 years and spent 31 of the years residing in Orem, Utah before relocating to Saratoga Springs, Utah. Together they have three children and nine grandchildren. Becky loved being a grandma and was so excited to share her love of dolls and books. Steven retired in 2021 and has spent the last two years caring for Becky full-time. The time they have shared together has been so special.

She was a lifelong and dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in various callings throughout the years. Becky was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1991. She loved to share that she believed that she volunteered in Heaven to have MS on Earth. Becky was so full of light and spread happiness to everyone around her. Her laugh and smile were contagious and she had the ability to make friends wherever she went. She loved to go shopping, play games, go out to eat, plan parties, and collect dolls. Did we say plan parties? She was truly the life of the party. Becky will be remembered through her funny stories, love, and kindness. She was immensely proud of her children, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.

Becky is survived by her husband, Steven Grant Wiser, three children: Justin Ray Wiser (Alicia), of Arcadia, Oklahoma; Brittney Wiser Wachter (Craig), of Saratoga Springs, Utah; and Chelsey Wiser Comer (Shelby), of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina, and her sister, Susan Cutler Webster (Don), of Salem, Virginia. She is also survived by nine grandchildren. Jaden, Nash, Grayson, and Paisley Wiser, Ruby and Lucy Wachter, Owen Sorensen, Finn, and Cora Comer. Becky was predeceased by her loving parents and grandparents.

“…God hath made me to laugh so that all that hear will laugh with me.” Genesis 21:6
