Barbara Ann Woolsey was born on July 8, 1932 in Eldon, Missouri to Bertie and Essie Wynkoop. Barbara loved spending time with her family, serving others and had a passion for family history.
She is survived by her son John R. Lyle; her daughter Sarah Payton (Bill), and grandchildren Jessica, McKenzie and Kamee; her son Gary D. Lyle (Michelle), and grandchildren Sarah, Richard and Erika (Nick) and great-grandson Nephi, and her niece, Deane Ius (Rocky).
She is preceeded in death by her husband Jack Keith Woolsey, her brother Bill Wynkoop and her parents Bert Wynkoop and Essie Carrender Wynkoop.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. There will be a viewing prior to the funeral from 12:00 to 12:45 P.M. at the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints 1457 West Atherton Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah
Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery and Mortuary at 3:00 P.M. 6500 South Redwood Road West Jordan, Utah 84123.

I met Barbara on 28 January 1989. I had gone to Salt Lake City to serve a Family History Mission. I met Barb on my first day and she had in her hand the information for an Apartment to rent in the building where she lived .. 89 200 NorthSecond venue, Salt Lake City ... I took it!! We have been fond and firm friends since that day. Not hearing from her over the past months I had the ‘feeling’ that she has gone home. Only today .. 27 December 2021 .. did I follow my thoughts to put her name on my iPad and I found this .. thank you dear Barb, I know you prompted me.
