Barbara T Stanley

Our Beloved Mother Barbara Thomas Stanley was called home to be with our loving Savior Jesus Christ, December 5th, 2021. She was surrounded by her family as she passed peacefully in her home.

She married Joseph L. Stanley on August 28th, 1953. He was the love of her life, her forever companion.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend. Her family was her pride and joy. From our earliest memories she has always been there and gave everything that she could. She was the kind of mother that helped us through the bad times and shared our joy in the good. She was a great example to us and has lived a full life over the last 92 years. She had 17 children she raised with a lot of patience and love. She had a sweet spirit about her and always welcomed everyone in her home with loving arms. She gave the best advice, loved celebrating the holidays, never missed watching the Utah Jazz games, loved pretty things and always had the most perfectly beautiful home. She means more to us than words could ever say. She had a true testimony of Jesus Christ. She was our gift from God and we will never forget His light that so shined through her. What a comfort and a blessing that families are forever.

Barbara is preceded in death by; Husband Joseph, daughters Danna and Sandra, grandchildren Joseph and Angela. She is survived by; Richard (Cindy), Craig, Robert (Susan), David (Deann), Debbie (Len), Scott (Valerie), Joseph (Cindy), Thomas (Janeen), Barbara Grace (Kyle), Jackie (Eric), Judy (Ken), Terri (Mike), Traci (David), Bill (Lorilyn), Tonya (Jeff), Robert (Janet), Joseph (Tina), Kimberlie (Matt), 127 grand children, 174 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.

The viewing will be held December 15th at 10:00am- 12:00pm. The funeral will follow the same day at 12:00pm- 1:00pm. Both at The Church of Jesus Christ of LDS
