Barbara Ann Quintana

Apr 11, 1942 Sep 15, 2021

Barbara Ann Quintana, 79, of Duchesne, UT, passed peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, in her home beside her loving husband and family, after a brave and difficult battle with cancer.

Barbara was born to Hazel May and Robert Davini on April 11, 1942 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was full of energy and mischief as a child. She grew up alongside her sister and brothers who regularly went on adventures together throughout the city. Barbara met Charlie when she was sixteen years old. They quickly became the love of each other’s lives. In 1960, after getting permission from their parents, they were married. Barbara and Charlie raised their three children in West Valley City, UT where they continued to live for almost forty years until they retired to a beautiful property in Duchesne, UT. Barbara had a larger-than-life personality and never missed an opportunity to help someone out in their time of need. She worked hard to keep her kids and grandkids close and was so proud of her great grandbabies. She fiercely loved her family and will be remembered, loved, and missed forever.

Barbara is survived by her husband Charles Sharon Quintana, her children Brian Quintana (Michelle) and Rayelyn Carter (Daniel), 5 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, her brother Jimmy Davini, her sister Mary Joanne “Nay” Galvin, 4 nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her son Justin Lee Quintana (2015), her parents Hazel and Robert Davini, her brother Bobby Davini, her brother-in-law Ralph Keele (2011), and her beloved dog Dusty.
