Born May 13, 1935. Died at the age of 88 on December 14, 2023.

Born to Harry Leonard Jacobson and Mildred Warr Bowden in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lived all her life in the Salt Lake valley. Graduated from Cyprus high school in 1952. She married Charles LeRoy Knight on August 15, 1952. She Worked several jobs over her lifetime, started working at the age of 15 as a waitress in Magna at a café then moved on to Cornet's Five & Dime, and worked at W. T. Grants at the same time. Then she worked at the Chatterbox, where she met the love of her life. During her married years she worked for Birds Drive-in, McDougal's Frost Top, the University of Utah catering, in the commons and the huddle. After that she worked at Edo Western in Salt Lake.

Roy and Barbara were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake temple on November 2, 1964. An active member of the LDS church all her life, she served in many positions. She served as a primary teacher for over 12 years. She also served as 1st counselor and president to the primary. She served as Relief Society President, 1st, and 2nd counselor to the Relief Society and as a Visiting Teacher for a number of years.

Barbara enjoyed 28 years of square dancing with her beloved husband Roy with the Rocketeer's and Pioneer Squares. They danced at state and international conventions, they traveled the world visiting many countries with friends and family and later became snowbirds living part-time in Mexico and Arizona.

Preceded in death by her husband Roy, her daughter Tamara Paschall, one grandson Bradley Todd Paschall, and five brothers and two sisters.

Survived by one brother Gene Caldwell and three sisters-in-law. The three children are Daughters Sandra Knight of Bullhead City AZ, Karen Knight Fenwick (Allen) of Kearns Ut, and Son LeRoy Jay Knight of Evanston WY. Survived by 11 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 10 Great Great Grandchildren.

A viewing to be held at Redwood Memorial Estates on December 22,2023 from 6 to 8 pm. at 6500 South Redwood Rd, Wet Jordan Ut and at the church from 10 to 11 am prior to services. Oquirrh 7th ward located at 6673 Clernates Drive (5330 West Jordan, UT).
