Barbara was born to Dean & Phyllis Tomlin on July 4th, 1933. She recalled fondly that for much of her life, her father told her the parades were held in her honor. Barbara was the mother to 5 Children, Douglas Sam Shelley, Tommy Murray, Cheyenne Murray, Diane (MISSY) Shields, & Alan Murray. Barbara spent much of her life in Magna, St. John (Rush Valley), Hurricane/St.George and Erda, Utah. She worked from & retired from the Tooele Army Depot. She valued her independence & continued to work in various capacities at the Walmart in Tooele, where she made many friends in the customers she served. Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Gee Tomlin, Her father, Dean Tomlin, Her brother, Dick Tomlin, Her granddaughter Mandy Shields, Husband, Ross Bell, sons, Tommy Murray & Douglas Sam Shelley. Barbara was very proud to be a grandmother to all of her grandchildren. She also cherished the role of great grandmother & became a great-great grandmother two times over in 2013 & again in 2018. Barbara was blessed with longevity in her family line and cherished being a 5th generation Mother and grandmother. Services will be held on Monday, November 27th at Tate Mortuary in Tooele, Utah. Viewing at 9:45 with graveside service at Tooele Cemetery following at 11:00.
