Our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Arva Silcox Stewart, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2022, with her entire family by her side.

Arva was born on October 27, 1941, in Magna, Utah, where she spent her childhood. She met her sweetheart, Richard Lee Stewart and they were married and sealed together in the Logan Temple on August 7, 1959. Their life together flourished with the addition of five children, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A member of the LDS faith, Arva was a kind, compassionate woman who would go out of her way to help anyone in need. She loved quilting, doll collecting, food preservation, thrift shopping and going to yard sales. A highlight in recent years was a memorable trip to Scotland with her son Jeff.

Arva is survived by her children, Wade Stewart (Stacy), Darla Duckworth, Arlette Poulsen, Darrell Stewart, Jeff Stewart, and by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by her loving husband Richard, her parents, her brothers and sisters and one grandchild.

She will be fondly remembered for her infectious laugh, sense of humor and love of family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery at 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan with a graveside service following at 12 noon.
