Arthur Wilford Gansauge died on October 5, 2023 in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. He was born October 31, 1934 in Duluth, Minnesota to William and Evelyn Mabel Gansauge. He married Walborg Sigfried Slinning on February 6, 1954. Art was sealed for all time and eternity to his beautiful wife “Wallie” on May 17, 2005. He loved traveling with her, especially on their trips to Norway, her homeland.

Art had two careers. First, he was in the U.S. Army for almost 23 years, then he moved on to UEA and was with them for another 24 years. In both of his careers he ran a printshop. While Art was in the military and stationed in Japan, he earned himself a black belt in Judo. Art loved his family and enjoyed their company.

He is survived by his son Gary (Susan); grandchildren, Michelle (Alfie) and David. He leaves behind eight great-grandchildren and some nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wonderful wife, Walborg; both of his parents, William and Evelyn, a granddaughter Kristine, and his siblings, Charles, Clyde, and Theoline.

Funeral Services will be held on October 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., at the Brighton Point Ward, 3455 East Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Interment will be at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 East Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, Utah
