Arlene Miles Tsujimoto, age 86, passed away in her home from the effects of pneumonia, September 23, 2023 in Taylorsville, Utah. Her loving, caring and attentive daughter Lisa was by her side. Many family members were able to be with her, or talk with her by phone, in the days before her passing.  Arlene was born in Preston, Idaho on August 16, 1937 to Cecil and Dorothy Miles. She was the oldest of five girls, raised in Banida, Idaho and went to grade school there. Later she attended Preston Junior High and High School. After high school, she attended Stevens-Henager College Salt Lake City where she met Ben Tsujimoto on a blind date. She also attended Trade Tech and graduated with her Associates degree in accounting. Arlene and Ben married on April 5th,1956 and went on to have 3 children, Gary, Lisa and Guy.

Some of Arlene's favorites were her grandchildren and great grandchildren; laughing, giggling, teasing, and giving fun gifts to her four sisters; family reunions; cooking for her family; all things frogs; and working at JC Penney. She had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor up until the very end. She absolutely loved her family and any opportunity to be together. We will treasure the love, laughter and recipes she shared throughout her life.

Survived by her children, Gary (Karen), Lisa, Guy (Gayle) Tsujimoto; grandchildren, Bryson (Tenille), Tyler (Kiersten) Tsujimoto; Mariko (Paul) Rossiter; Nicholas (Liz Rojas), Michiko Zaharias; Midori, and Miles (Amanda) Tsujimoto; great-grandchildren, Kiriko and Lincoln Tsujimoto, Malia and Emery Rossiter, Nixon and Emiko Tsujimoto; sister, Lorraine Miles Youngstrom.
