Ardean Wright

Ardean Wright, age 80, returned to his Heavenly Father on November 16, 2023. He passed away at home after a battle with cancer.

Ardean was born on May 25, 1943, in Hurricane, Utah, in the Wright family home. Ardean graduated from Hurricane High School. He was on the wrestling team and played sports.

He grew up on the family ranch raising cattle and crops, etc. Ardean loved to spend time with his family and visiting with friends. He enjoyed venturing out in the hills, hunting, and riding around in his side-by-side, and being in nature soaking up the sun. He especially loved being up on Kolob mountain and the many family memories made there.

Ardean worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and operator by trade. He loved making jewelry to give to all the girls, it brought him joy. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is proceeded in death by his father Floyd B. Wright and mother Mary B. Wright, sisters Enid and Annette, brothers Rodney (Carol) Wright, son Richard Wright, and daughter-in-law Becky Wright.

Ardean is survived by his wife of 58 years, Darlene Wright, children Shellie (Randy) Limb, David (Kerri) Wright, Josh (Becky) Wright, Billie Jo (Lance) DeMille, Janice (Jay) Thayne, and many beautiful grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Raymond Wright.

There will be a graveside service Monday, November 20, 2023, 1:00 pm at the Hurricane City Cemetery, 225 E. 600 N., Hurricane, Utah 84737.
