Antonio loved fishing, camping, hunting, and fixing up old cars. He looked forward to going to the park, movies or to get ice cream with his grandkids. He could often be found watching cartoons or Jazz games. He found joy in fixing his grandkids bikes and helping his kids with home improvements or fixing their cars. While doing all these things he still made time for gardening and playing candy crush.

Surviving Antonio are his children: Antonio Martinez, Ramon G Martinez, Rita (Joseph) Martinez, and Angela (Juan) Renteria; 12 grandchildren: Ramon C, Aliya, Vida, Aydream, Natalie, Stella, Juanito, Izabellah, Juliano, Necesidi, Airiana, and Lil Aaliyah; brothers: Benjamin (Delma) Martinez, Ernesto (Sharon) Martinez, and Arturo Martinez; sisters: Irma (Perry) Davis, Elena (Alfredo) Amezcua, Antonia Martinez, Norma (Omar) Hernandez, and Carmen Martinez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Carmen Gonzales Martinez; sisters, Norma Martinez and Elena Martinez; and brother, Sergio Martinez.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 9, 2022 at St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1375 Spring Lane, Holladay, Utah. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 8, 2022 Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
