Antone N Christensen, age 86, passed away on September 5, 2020 in Taylorsville, Utah. He was born on January 29, 1934 in Oasis, Utah to Albert and Esther Christensen. He married Tarralee Bone on December 15th, 1954.

Tony served in the Army where he met his wife. He was a bishop in the LDS Church and served on a LDS Mission in Columbia, South Carolina with Tarralee. He had many talents and hobbies including gardening, mechanics, knitting hats and socks for his friends, family and neighbors. He was an amazing story teller of his life.

He is survived by his children, Teralin Christensen, Melvin Durfey, Ginger Christensen, Joel Christensen, Thad (Maaika) Christensen, Castina (Mike) Brinkerhoff, grandchildren, Joel (Kristie) Christensen, Marie (Cody) Eldredge, Kelsee Brinkerhoff, Nyles (Kori) Durfey, Lynsee Brinkerhoff, Connor (Caliesa) Christensen, Anders (Ashlyn) Durfey, Tarralee Christensen, Adria Christensen, Cassi Brinkerhoff, Davin Christensen, and 13 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Tarralee Christensen, daughter, Shanna Durfey, his parents and his siblings.

A Viewing will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the LDS Church on 6550 South 2700 West in West Jordan, Utah, 84084. There will be an open house at 6332 South 2525 West, Taylorsville, Utah 84129 on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

I`m sorry for your loss, Loosing our parents is one of the hardest things in life we go through. But we all have to experience this. God let`s is experience this so we love them more after they`re gone. Our love toward our family is a test the Lord admires toward us in the 2nd coming. I`m thankful I did as much with my parents as I did. I`m thankful for all of your relationships, friendships at our family get to gethers family reunions, HUNT trips, ect. they were great. Tony always had you guys there, what a joy he was to listen to. You guy carry on your relationships, and love your family. Because I LOVE YOU ALL.
