Anne Marie Weaver Holyoak passed peacefully from this earthly existence surrounded by her family and wonderful caregivers on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Anne was born as the youngest child of John Joseph and Ida Mae Weaver on February 3, 1928. She spent all of her childhood into her teenage years in the town of Creede, Colorado breathing fresh, crisp mountain air, and eating trout caught in the creek near her house, by her father on his way home from working in the mines. After moving to Utah, Anne attended and graduated from South High School. While working at Continental Bank, Anne met the love of her life, Jerald D. Holyoak, and they were married on January 7, 1955. In 1960, they welcomed their son, Christopher John, followed by Kara Anne in 1965, and Brooke Anne in 1970. Anne loved all the yearly vacations to Sun Valley and McCall, Idaho. Anne cherished her time playing tennis at the Cottonwood Country Club and watching the kids compete in swim meets. Anne was an extraordinary artist and the family home’s walls were filled with her paintings. Anne belonged to P.E.O., National Charity League, and Assistance League and enjoyed her friendships and the volunteer work affiliated with those organizations. Most of all, Anne loved being by Jerry’s side at countless charity events, serving with the Salvation Army, and dancing with him at Saturday Night Dance Club. In the end, Anne was looking at a picture of she and Jerry and commented that he was trying to find her. We believe she did find Jerry and they are dancing joyously together again. Anne is survived by her daughter Kara (Devin) Stone, daughter Brooke Holyoak (Sheral Schowe) and her grandchildren Helen Anne and Harper Jean Holyoak, Savannah Marie and Delaney Kaye Stone, and Devin Robert Schowe niece and nephews Kandy, John and Gerry Weaver, and numerous grand nieces and nephews. Anne was preceded in death by her husband Jerald and her son Chris Holyoak, and her parents John Joseph and Ida Mae Weaver. A small family gathering will take place Saturday, April 24, 2021. A full memorial service and celebration of life will take place this summer at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Salvation Army. The family wishes to thank Jen and Jeff from Tendercare for their unwavering, gentle care, and the amazing staff at Ashford Assisted Living and Memory Care of Draper for making Anne’s life so enjoyable and for loving her so much. You always sparkled mom, now go and brighten the corner where you are!

We are so sorry for your loss. Your Mom was so much fun, and she and your Dad introduced us to the CCC, where we played tennis with them, wined and dined with them, and admired their fine dancing skills. Anne was always dressed impeccably, and set a high bar for the rest of us.

We hope your fond memories will give you comfort and peace in time.

Love you all, Mark & Marilyn Zupon
