Andrea Kristine Nielson

West Jordan, Utah –

Andrea Kristine Nielson, beloved daughter, sister, aunt (44), passed away May 11, 2022 quietly in her sleep.

Born June 29, 1977, in Murray, Utah to Jesse Paul Ritzman and Robbie Lynn Thompson.

Andrea had a courageous attitude towards her staggering health obstacles, she sustained a head injury from a fall and was born with an enlarged heart that caused her to go in and out of heart failure. Throughout all of this, Andrea had a strong will to live and a great attitude towards life.

Andrea had an infectious smile, her charismatic personality and warm caring attitude gave friends and family a sense of love. Andrea loved the outdoors; camping, hiking, and taking walks due to her health, it was limited.

Andrea was a walking sunshine. She was a fun aunt who loved and cared for her nieces; Kylee (12) and Leah (6) making them feel loved. She was generous, kind, and full of humor, with an unforgettable laugh. Andrea had a huge heart especially for children and animals.

Sleep with the angels, my precious, beautiful daughter, you will be truly missed.

Andrea is preceded in death by her Grandma and Grandpa Leake, her Grandma and Grandpa Ritzman, and her beautiful niece Katelyn. Andrea is survived by her mother Robbie L Thompson (Larry Thompson-Dad), her father Jesse P Ritzman, her sister April J Blackburn (Thomas Blackburn) her nieces Kylee C Blackburn and Leah C Blackburn.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 3, 2022 at Memorial Lake Hills Cemetery 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah.
