Anarose Melekata Fetokai was called back home on March 9, 2022 at the age of 3, peacefully in her sleep. Though her passing was unexpected and her life was short lived, the impact she left here on earth is eternal. This beautiful baby girl blessed this earth on January 22, 2019 in San Leandro, California Kaiser Hospital. Survived by her nurturing caring parents, Felofiaki and Melekiseteki Fetokai, and her four loving siblings, Sione (aka Bubba) Fonokalafi age 6, Ka’ati Maile (aka Baby Girl) age 4, Dymond Maele 1 years old and Losaline Va’ai Fetokai 5 months old.

Though she was the middle child amongst her siblings and lived in a house full of babies, she could always stand out. She danced to her own beat of her drums and owned every moment! If she wasn’t at the kitchen table eating and stuffing her face, you could catch her drawing on the walls, paper or anything that had a surface. Creating the most amazing structures with her blocks, singing her favorite parts of coco melon, dancing to her favorite song, 2002 by Anne-Marie, asking to kiss her invisible owies, screaming and laughing at the top of her lungs while running up and down the hall with her siblings and cousin, playing dress up with anything and everything she can get her hands on (included but not limited to) laundry baskets or cereal boxes, watching her mom put on her makeup while imitating her in the background and sneaking in later when no one is looking to try it on herself, playing in the bathtub and absolutely refusing to come out no matter how much you bribed her or greeting her dad every morning with the most warmest and biggest hug and sharing their special handshake that they created together as she ended with an enthusiastic, “Good Job!” But what she craved for the most, was love and affection. A hug and kiss of reassurance made her day. Anarose was the life of her own party. There was never a dull moment when she was in the room.

Though she was only with us for 3 short years, she made an everlasting impression in our hearts, that will live on forever. Till we meet again.
