Alfonso Albert Archuleta, age 85, passed away on November 8th, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born to Irene Romero and Jose Archuleta on July, 5th 1935 in Del Norte, Colorado. He was married to Pauline Cerria Maez on October 25, 1955 and together they loved hosting and entertaining company for many reasons, but especially holiday events.

Al had many hobbies; he was an avid hunter, enjoyed baseball, and loved his motorcycle. He was active in the Catholic Church participating in camping, carnivals, and many other activities. His pride and joy was his family and most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also took pride in working for the Union Pacific Railroad as a Track Master.

He is survived by his children; Priscilla Martinez, Patricia Florez, Joseph Atencio, Larry Atencio, Don Archuleta, Tim (Darlene) Archuleta, Lynel (Donna) Archuleta, Greg (Paula) Archuleta, and Derick (Cindy) Archuleta; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Pauline, brothers; Richard and Eddie Archuleta, sister; Stella Trujillo, daughters; Ellie Wright and Jane Horne Archuleta, sons; Paul John and Steve Florez.

Services will be held Thursday, November 12th, 2020 at 11:00 AM which may be viewed virtually via Zoom at this link: https://zoom.us/j/8015661249. Interment will follow at the Heber City Cemetery. For family and friends, a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.

Anyone who is attending the services, please adhere to the CDC guidelines for social distancing.

    Al was such a wonderful kind sweet soul. I loved his testimony of Jesus and his kind generous soul. I will never forget him. He will always have a place in my heart , like I know he has with so many others. He blessed my life for the better.
