Aja Huntington Rice

Aja Lin Huntington Rice passed away on November 24, 2021 in Murray, Utah at the age of 33. She was born on August 1, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Anthony S. Huntington and Rosemarie Luyun Huntington. She married Ryan Don Rice on May 12, 2012.

Aja graduated from Mountain View High School in 2006 and from Utah Valley University, Cum Laude, in 2014. She played the flute and the piccolo in the high school marching band. Aja also competed in ballroom dance. She was on the rugby team at UVU.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ryan Don Rice, daughters Jasmine and Kamala, her son Christian, parents Anthony and Rosemarie Huntington, her brother AJ (Martina) Huntington, sister Holly Huntington, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Jacinto and Iderlina Luyun, and her uncle Joaquin Luyun.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM with a viewing two hours prior beginning at 9:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Lakeview 8th Ward, 155 West 1600 South, Orem, Utah. Interment will follow at 3 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
