Obituary for A. Joyce Johnson Harris Age 89 Died on November 27th, 2020 surrounded by those she loved. She was born August 2nd 1931, in Porterville, Utah to Willard Glen Johnson and Zola May Zhinden. She married the love of her life and soul mate Leroy Ernest Harris on June 20th, 1947, they were later sealed in the temple for life and all eternity. Joyce had many talents that she loved to share and teach her family from ceramics, Jewelry making, sewing, crocheting, quilting and baking. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved camping, fishing, hunting and gardening. She had a love of reading and would always find a stack of Harlequin romance novels throughout the house. She loved her family beyond anything else and everything she did was for them. She had a love of shopping and a thing for clothes and knick-knacks. She loved to get all dolled up for the day even if there was nowhere to go. Going “Junkin” was always on the list for a good outing with her and she had HSN and QVC on speed dial for the next coolest gadget, piece of clothing or jewelry. She had an uncanny sense of humor and always new how to lighten a mood with an off the wall inappropriate comment. Holidays brought her so much delight and loved to go all out decorating and baking for Christmas. She had a love for old Western movies and music, and you could always guarantee one was playing on her TV or radio in the background. Joyce had a love and testimony for her religion and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a soft spot in her heart for all her ward members and friends. Joyce has always been known for taking the underdog under her wing and loving them. Joyce is survived by 4 children, Cheryl (Mike), Kirby (Brenda), John, Michelle (Tony). Siblings Joann, Linda (Jerry), Carol (Dennis), Nancy (Paul). 16 grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren. Joyce is proceeded in death by her husband Roy, parents Glen (Evelyn) and Betty.
