Karen's favorite band was Fleetwood Mac, as a teenager she would listen to them ALL THE TIME & if they had a repeat button back then you better believe it would be stuck on Rhiannon. She made the best pumpkin rolls and hands down the most mouthwatering gooiest caramel popcorn ever, everyone looked forward to these delicious treats at Christmas time. Patty says “Oh how I will miss them” as will we all. As long as she had a Coca-Cola, Reeses & black nibs licorice she was happy. But she would absolutely give you her last dime if she thought you needed it before buying any of them for herself. Possibly the truest thing ever said about Karen and the best way to describe her would be “She had more fight in her than anyone we knew” (Brittney)

She was so loved and will be missed by many especially her grandson who wrote the following letter to her. “ Hi grandma it's Bradly. I hope Rachael and Grandma Betty are giving you as much love as I would. I hope you have your 12 pack of Coke and black nibs and just having the time of your life and when I get to see you guys again I will bring a 24 pack of hot dogs for Buddy. I didn't forget you Buddy. Love, Bradly”

Karen is survived by her daughters Brittney(Sherlock) and Chelsea(Lonnie), five amazing grandchildren Tyler, Bradly, Taymauri, Taysia and Payton, sisters Patty(Neil) and Diane(George), brothers Curtis(Christy) and Greg, step mother Chris-ee Mitchell, 7 step siblings and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father James Clyde Mitchell, mother Betty Davenport Mitchell Sevey, daughter Rachael Kay Branch, nephews Travis & Jesse , brother in laws Neil & George, step siblings Sherilyn & David and her beloved dog “Buddy”- she’s back with you now bud.
