Dennis Clenten Coleman, 67, passed away on October 7th, 2020 at St. Marks Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Great Lakes, Illinois to Lawrence Clenten Coleman and Shirley Jean Coleman. He married Belva Dawn Rose in 1981.
Dennis was a master plumber, journeyman sheet metal worker, and otherwise skilled tradesman. In his spare time, he helped everyone he could on various projects for a nominal fee of a six pack of beer. He really enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren and his dog. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor, generosity, and unconditional love for his family.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and Brother Allen. Survived by Spouse of 38 years Belva, 4 children Angie Terry (Derek), Scott Coleman, Russ Coleman (Patricia), Jennifer Timmerman (Mitchell), 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 14 from 11:00-12:45 PM at Valley View Funeral Home located at 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, Utah. A graveside service will be held the same day at 1:00 PM at Valley View Memorial Park located at 4400 W 4100 S, West Valley City, Utah.

I too knew Dennis from the Salt Flat Hot Wheelers. He was one of the good guys.
He was so easy to talk to and trade with. We both really like those little cars.
Rest easy friend. See you in the next life.
I met Dennis through collecting Hot Wheels many years ago. We would meet on Saturday mornings and travel store to store looking for those little cars. He was always very generous and kind towards others. We had many great times together. He was a good friend and will be missed. Our prayers are with the Coleman family.
