  • Can I post a Life Story memorial for someone who passed months or years ago?

Your friends and family can enter Guestbook comments without having to create an account. Comments are visible immediately. If there is any issue with what is posted, you can flag a comment and our moderators will review it as quickly as possible. Visitors can also submit Timeline memories as either a photo memory or text memory. Timeline submissions will be sent to your account to approve or reject before they are visible on the site.

  • I can’t find the obituary or person that I’m looking for. Where is it?

theMemories does not have historical obituaries, nor does it include obituaries not directly posted to the site. You will only find an individual’s Life Story if the family or funeral home has posted it here. If you would like to post a Life Story for the person you are looking for, you are welcome to do so as long as you are or have permission from the family.

  • I received an email that the funeral home made me an owner of a Life Story. What does this mean and how do I claim it?

A funeral home is asked to include a family representative each time they post to theMemories. This gives the family the opportunity to claim and gain admin access to the Life Story. To claim a Life Story, click the link in the email and create an account (if you have not already). You will now have access to the Life Story and you can edit and add to it freely. The funeral home will retain access for six months after you claim the Life Story to add important service events and details.

  • I represent a funeral home and I am interested in partnering with theMemories. Where can I find more information?
