About Us

For over 60 years, Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home has been here to serve the community. Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home has been at its current location since 1954. The original funeral home was started in downtown Gilmer as Loyd-Fike Funeral Home. After the move to its current location, it became known as Loyd Funeral Home, and later, Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home. Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home has served Upshur, and parts of Camp, Wood, Marion, Cass, Gregg, and Smith counties over the years. In 1999, Grubbs-Loyd opened a funeral Home in Diana to help serve the Eastern portion of the East Texas community. To this day, Todd Stansbury, employee for over 25 years, helps to serve the local community.
