Established in 1989 by the Powell family, who operated it until 2008, Sunrise was then purchased by Mr. Butch Hampton of Hampton Funeral Home in Prescott whose family legacy began in 1956. Sunrise Funeral Home is a family owned establishment which has provided the Prescott Valley area with professionalism and compassionate care for nearly 30 years. Sunrise Funeral Home was built with the intent to be a full service facility, including an on site chapel and crematory to ensure the care and consideration of families loved ones.
