About Us

Brown Page Mortuary was established in 1945 by Curtis Page and Gordon Brown with the purchase of Porter and Ames Mortuary from Howard Ames. Originally located at 537 9th St., Brown Page Mortuary was moved to its current location at 910 F Avenue in 1952. For numerous years, Brown Page also operated Douglas’ ambulance service. In 1957, Dominic Aira entered the funeral home business working under Curtis Page and Gordon Brown of Brown-Page Mortuary and eventually purchased the business with Robert (Bobby) Benson from Howard Bring of Tucson. He later became sole owner. Dominic conducted his business the same way he did his personal life – with an unrivaled compassion for others and a generous and caring spirit. Upon his semi-retirement, he turned over operations to his nephews David Escarcega who is the current President/Funeral Director and Joseph (Chacho) Greth. Today, Brown Page Mortuary still operates under one basic belief, to provide the same caring and compassionate services to the community in an honest and dignified manner.
